Fourth grade students at DLR wanted to show their generosity by doing something special for the Kingsland Fire Department. After much discussion, our fourth graders decided to make cards and take up a collection to purchase dinner from Cracker Barrel. A group of our students met Mrs. Lance and Mrs. Benton on Thanksgiving Day to deliver the delicious dinner to the fire department. We were warmly greeted by the firefighters who appreciated the generosity of our students!
