✨ Special Guest Visit in 1st Grade! ✨
On Thursday, our 1st grade students had the joy of welcoming Dr. Gail Duggar for a special visit. Dr. Duggar and her late father co-authored many books, including Peter the Pelican, a heartwarming story inspired by real-life interactions between her father and a friendly pelican.

To make the day even more special, each 1st grade student received their very own copy of Peter the Pelican! 📚💙 What a memorable experience celebrating stories, history, and the love of reading.

📏👟 Hands-on learning in Ms. Dawson’s class! 👟📏

Ms. Dawson’s students recently wrapped up a fun math project exploring non-metric measurement. Each student traced their shoe and then measured its length using snap cubes—a creative way to build understanding through real-world practice!

We love seeing our students learning by doing and having fun while they’re at it. Way to go, Ms. Dawson and class! 🎉📐
