Third Grade Pen Pals! 💌
Mrs. Tipton's and Ms. Mills' ELA classes finished up their reading of Dear Primos and Dear Dragon with a wonderful pen pal exchange! Our students wrote friendly letters to one another, practicing common and proper nouns and making sure their tricky commas were in all the right places. They celebrated their hard work and shared their letters over pumpkin cookies and juice. What a sweet way to end the module! 📝🍪

🍬 This past Friday, Ms. Dawson’s 1st grade class turned math into a sweet adventure! 🎉 Students sorted their M&M’s by color, tallied up their data ✅, and built bar graphs 📊 to discover which color came out on top. Learning math has never been so sweet! 🍭✨
📚🐯 Yesterday, our 1st and 2nd graders had a very special visitor! Dr. Morris from First District RESA and Let’s Read, Georgia! joined us as part of the Fall 2025 Reading Campaign: “Ready, Set, Read!” 🎉
She modeled high-impact interactive read-alouds with the book “Hey, Little Ant.” This experience not only gave our students the chance to enjoy a read-aloud that was rich, responsive, and rigorous, but it also served as an incredible professional learning opportunity for our teachers. 💡👩🏫
