⏰ Time: 9:00 a.m.

Join us for a 🌟 magical morning 🌟 as our students bring their favorite storybook characters to life! From classic tales 📖 to modern favorites 🦸‍♀️🐻🧙‍♂️, it’s a celebration of reading, imagination, and creativity! 💭💫

Students are invited to:
✨ Dress up as a character from a favorite book 👗👒🧢
✨ Bring the book to carry in the parade 📕
✨ Share their love of reading with classmates and families ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

📋 Guidelines:
🚫 Costumes should be school-appropriate and book-based (no masks or weapons).
👟 Please make sure your child can walk and learn comfortably in their costume.

🧦 Wednesday: Crazy Hair & Socks Day! Show you’re drug-free from head to toe!
🏈 Thursday: Team Day! Wear your favorite team colors as we team up against drugs and bullying.
📚 Friday: Storybook Character Day! Dress as your favorite storybook character to say “YES!” to kindness and “NO!” to drugs and bullying.

Today, we celebrate Instructional Coach Appreciation Day and recognize the amazing work of Instructional Coach, Dr. Julia Lene Bauder-Newman.

Dr. Bauder-Newman plays a key role in supporting teachers, strengthening instruction, and helping students succeed. From sharing resources to modeling lessons and offering encouragement, she provides guidance that makes a real difference every day.

We are grateful for Dr. Bauder-Newman’s dedication, positivity, and impact on our school community. Thank you for all that you do! We are DLR!
